Clear Vinyl Badge Holder is probably the simplest and the most common type of ID badge holder. It is an envelope-like container made of clear Vinyl. It is available in horizontal or vertical orientation. Slot and chain hole is present for id attachments such as lanyards and badge reels. Clear vinyl badge holder comes in standard credit card size. This badge holder can accommodate card with maximum dimensions of 3 3/8″ x 2 1/8″ (86mm x 54mm).

A variation of this ID badge holder is the Clear Vinyl Badge Holder with Ziplock. The ziplock is incorporated as an added protection. It is used to seal in order to keep moisture and dirt away from the ID badges. Like the Clear Vinyl Badge Holder, it allows ID card to be seen from inside the pouch. Chain and slot hole is also present.
